This day was filled with sharing and learning as members of the police force and social development fraternity engaged with grade 7 & 8 learners of phororong primary school on issues of drug abuse, violence, education, health, teenage pregnancy, personal development and good citizenry. Awareness is a prerequisite of prevention when dealing with crime and other social ills. This operation was necessary in that a school is a place of learning and students need to be in a safe environment when within the school grounds. The knowledge they've gained today and their acquired awareness could reasonably improve their quality of learning and enhance a vital culture of healthy and smart living.
